Anghiari, that is one of the most beautiful village in Italy

Sansepolcro , the town of Piero della Francsca , with a lovely main street full of shops. It is worth a visit to the museum of Piero della Francesca and to the churches and monuments of which the town is particularly rich.

We suggest also a visit to Caprese Michelangelo where Michelangelo Buonarroti was born, a nice village on the hills with lovely restaurants.

La Verna , a Franciscan monks monastery that is open to the public in a wonderful position overlooking the Casentino hills and forest. Citerna and Monterchi two charming villages of the Tuscan tradition.

Then, If you feel a little bit more adventurous, Il Palazzo Sabino is perfectly located in the centre between the main towns in Tuscany like Siena and Florence and the beautiful towns and villages of Umbria like Perugia and Assisi . At the same time with one hour you can reach Urbino with the worderful masterpieces of Raffaello and the Adriatic coast that can be one of the day out during your stay. A fast train can take you from Arezzo to Rome centre in less then 2 hours.

We would like to remind you as well that Il Palazzo Sabino is less then 1 hour from the heart of Chianti area and Montefalco area named as two of the most important wine areas in Italy.

just 30 mins driving from Il Palazzo Sabino, in the beautiful forest overlooking Bagno di Romagna, there is a 45 mins walking itinerary to discover the magic world of the gnomes.

Mentino is the oldest , he is more then 300 years old and he knows all the secrets of the forest and of his fiends.
walk into the forest if you want to see them but remember, before to enter the enchanted forest, if you really want to see them, you have to wash your eyes (gnomes are very small), wash your ears (every little noise can be a clue), but most important you have to wash your heart (to free your spirit).
