We loved our time at La Limonaia - it's a really wonderful place and I'm sure we will be back. It was really nice to be in a family environment and yet not to feel you were intruding on someone else's property - Cesare and Jo made us feel very welcome and relaxed.
Maybe next time our wee boy will be old enough to play with the girls.
We have already passed on the website address to friends (particularly those with young families) as the property and the facilities were superb.

Please thank Cesare and Jo for a warm (in every sense) week in one of the most beautiful parts of the most beautiful country.

Thank you so much for making our week away so special: your house is
beautiful, the best we have ever stayed in, and could not be in a more
stunning situation...as we swam on the last evening we felt so lucky to
be surrounded by ancient farmhouse, lovely gardens and blue hills in the
distance...

You made everything seem so easy for us:  we felt very looked after. We
were so touched that you embraced us so fully what with barbecues and
dinner..etc. The children were very happy and talk about all of you
often...as well as asking "when are we going back to Italy?"... We had
been quite nervous about going abroad with 3 children but we returned
with new enthusiasm and confidence! I am sure we will be back !!

i was made to feel extremely welcome and the accommodation is excellent and very spacious.
the surrounding countryside is very beautiful and peaceful and makes for a very relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but is within easy reach of many historical towns and places of interest.

the only thing to wake you in the morning is birdsong and one of the things that i shall always remember, was late one evening, seeing the fireflies dancing around the trees.
for me italy is just “magic
